so, i pulled my camera out of my bag a few days ago and this is what i see.
so the kids are about the begin the annual summer stint at dad's house. because i'll have them for such a short time this summer, i was reluctant to find a program that would mean they would have to be somewhere specific doing specific activities all day. their "regular" life is so regimented. so, c drops them off at the studio with me (which they love!) around 10 and they just chill.

over the weekend, we had one of those rare and perfect estate sale experiences that is so fantastic when it happens, it keeps you estate-saling one crappy sale after the next in hopes of scoring another illusive jackpot. jay jacks was a women's apparel designer here in dallas. he had private clients and outfitted the "DALLAS" crew in the 80s as well as sold to Neiman Marcus. his wife's wardrobe was pretty great and i left with some special finds, but cesar... cesar hit the motherload. mr. jacks not only had impeccable taste, but he also just happened to be the exact same size as my boy. one gorgeous piece after the next fit like a glove. we left with many armfuls.
OMG! we have a new baby!
