over the weekend, we had one of those rare and perfect estate sale experiences that is so fantastic when it happens, it keeps you estate-saling one crappy sale after the next in hopes of scoring another illusive jackpot. jay jacks was a women's apparel designer here in dallas. he had private clients and outfitted the "DALLAS" crew in the 80s as well as sold to Neiman Marcus. his wife's wardrobe was pretty great and i left with some special finds, but cesar... cesar hit the motherload. mr. jacks not only had impeccable taste, but he also just happened to be the exact same size as my boy. one gorgeous piece after the next fit like a glove. we left with many armfuls.
mr. jacks had teensy tiny feet. these alligator wingtips left with me.
cute sheets and a pair of these great tables. stay tuned for a before and after post...
this great plexi magazine cart before and after soap, water, super glue.
i see succulents in this great planter/bowl. the other is a lighter...
fancypants ice bucket. champagne, anyone?
this painting came from another sale and the little creamer guy we found a cute resale shop.
