oh, la, la!  french mail is loads of fun and lina's book does not disappoint.

lina scheynius moves me

sometimes a photographer moves me and makes me want to document everything in my little life. lina scheynius is like that. 

cracked

so, i pulled my camera out of my bag a few days ago and this is what i see.

interesting as it is, all psychedelic seagull looking and all, it is not a picture i've taken. it's the result of a cracked lcd. L A M E - O! i can still see through the viewfinder to take pictures, but the viewfinder is not exactly accurate and i can't seem to change the flash settings. any suggestions on repair v replace? what's the hottest new pocket sized digital these days?

project complete

it feels sooooooooooo good to finish a project. reminds me of grade school when the class brainiac finished their classwork before everyone else and slammed their book closed and said "done!" in sharp exhale-y kinda of way. that was so annoying. but, i digress.

i think my guys did a fantastic job. and i think i did a pretty good job too. maybe one will end up in your mailbox.

one thousand paper cuts

1,250 sets times 15 cards each equals 18,750 cards total. we made it about half-way through. and there were two or three of us working on it at a time so by my estimation, i made about 250 trips around the conference table today.

in the vein of "pared down", i have to mention the dimming of the light that is polaroid, one of my favorite pared down mediums ever. there is an effort (several efforts, actually) to save polaroid. here's one. get on board!
